Step 1:
Meet the Requirements
Before applying, make sure you meet the following enrollment criteria:

Step 2:
Choose Your Program
Select the schedule that fits your lifestyle and learning goals.
Natural Hair Stylist:

On-Campus Program
Monday – Thursday | 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM -
Hybrid Program
Monday – Thursday | 5:45 PM – 9:45 PM
(Includes 7.5 weeks online + 7.5 weeks hands-on training in a licensed salon)
Professional Educator:

Monday – Thursday | 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM & 5:45 PM – 9:45 PM

Step 4:
Pay the Registration Fee
When you enroll online, the $300 registration fee secures your spot in the program.

Step 5:
Attend Orientation
Once enrolled, you’ll be invited to attend orientation. This is where you’ll receive:
- Program expectations and timelines
- Materials list and school policies
- Your official start date

Tuition & Fees
Now that you know what it takes to get started, here’s what you can expect financially. Below is a breakdown of program costs, payment plans, and what’s included when you enroll at The Institute of Beauty.
Natural Hair Stylist Program
(15 Weeks / 300 Hours)
- Total Cost: $3,975
- $3,000 – Tuition
- $400 – Student Kit & Uniform (includes tools and school T-shirt)
- $275 – CIMA Online Materials
- $300 – Registration Fee (non-refundable)

Professional Educator Program
(15 Weeks )
- Total Cost: $2,375
- $1,800 – Tuition
- $275 – CIMA Online Materials
- $300 – Registration Fee (non-refundable)
We are an out-of-pocket program and do not offer financial aid, but we do offer payment plans.
Natural Hair Stylist Payment Plan:
$1,500 (50% of tuition) required to begin a payment plan. Remaining balance must be paid before program completion.
Professional Educator Payment Plan:
Payment plans are available upon request. All tuition must be paid in full before graduation.
Payment Methods Accepted: Cash, Cashier’s Check, Debit Card
Note: Registration fee is non-refundable. Full tutition due at 50% completion of course.
